United Food and Commercial Workers Local 555 represents over 27,000 workers in grocery, retail, manufacturing, and other industries across Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Wyoming, including local Fred Meyer and Safeway employees. The union has endorsed Charles Gallia in his bid to succeed Mark Meek as state representative for House District 40, the portion of northwest Clackamas County that includes Oregon City, Gladstone, Jennings Lodge, Johnson City, and Oatfield.
